Damage Survey

Our marine surveyors are  fully accredited to perform damage inspections and appraisals to help resolve legal, insurance, and accident issues. We are licensed to perform accident and fraud investigations and can make court appearances serving as an expert witness.

Inspection of Repairs / New Construction / Refit

Florida marine surveyors are often engaged to oversee repairs of new construction and vessel refits . The boat surveyor will make sure standards set by the American Boat and Yacht Council and U.S. Coast Guard are followed.

All Florida Marine Survey's team is made up exclusively of accredited Master Marine Surveyors with extensive experience in the field. With over 9,0000 surveys performed, our projects have included marine insurance surveys, sailboat surveys, powerboat surveys, houseboat surveys, yacht surveys, pre-purchase surveys,  hull surveys, machinery surveys, damage surveys, and more.

Thermal Imaging is available. However, in most cases, Thermal Imaging is not necessary and this service will add considerable costs to your survey. We are certified level one Thermographers.

 Marine surveyor Florida

"Unlike most in the industry, I have an extensive background in the insurance business. As a licensed insurance agent and a former partner in an insurance company, I am well versed in what an insurance company is looking for and how to deliver. I do not sell marine insurance; as I feel this would be a conflict of interest to my survey clientele. What insurance underwriters won't tell you; beware of insurance agencies with so called accepted surveyors lists. Insurance agencies depend on a target market that relies on interconnected business relationships. In Layman's terms, surveyors may receive kick backs for recommending insurance companies and vice versa. Membership fees are often exchanged to be on preferred lists. Your boat survey needs to be performed by a non-biased surveyor for you to get what you are paying for. All Florida Marine Survey never pays for its referrals. Nor do we pay to be on anyone's preferred list.
I work for you, the client.
